Prof. Sun Zaiming

In a career spanning more than 50 years, Professor Sun has held the highly respected posts of Chief Pharmacist, Associate Professor, Deputy Director and Director, in the Chinese Academy of Medicinal Sciences, as well as that of Head Researcher at the Chinese Xiehe Medical University. Since 1990, Professor Sun ZaiMing has researched, developed and manufactured more than ten popular products based on his knowledge of herbal medicine. These products have enjoyed commercial success in many countries around the world.

Key Milestones in Professor Sun Zaiming’s Career

1986 

Accompanied other eminent Chinese herbal medicine experts including the world famous botanist Xiao PeiGen to the International Development Meeting of Medicinal Herbs in Rome, Italy.

 1989 

Awarded Gold Medal at the 32nd International Fair of Bee Products for his research and development of the American Ginseng Royal Jelly.

 1991 

Professor Sun was awarded honorary citizenship of San Bernardino, California.
1992 

Awarded by the Chinese government in recognition of his great contributions to the national medicine and health fields.

 1993 

Sent to Syria by the Health Ministry of China, as the deputy leader of specialist committee of the Chinese Science and Technology Assembly.

 1996 

Appointed by the Chinese Government as a committee member to compile the monumental work “Chinese Herbal Medicine”, the definitive volume on Chinese herbal medicinal practices.
